Sample rows come from the full release, with the same columns and workbook sheets. Sample documentation describes its scope and selection. The sample is for inspecting the files, not a representative statistical sample.

How should I read the numbers?

Missing values are recorded, never set to zero. American Community Survey figures retain their published margins of error. Nothing here predicts market performance. Read the methodology and source files before comparing estimates.

How is this different from the free CSV?

The Virginia population list is free. This package adds Virginia demographics, an Excel workbook, field definitions, uncertainty and missing-value documentation, and support.
